Magyk is a the first book in the Septimus Heap series. Septimus Heap is a boy who spent the first 10 years of his life as Boy 412 in the young army. He was kidnapped the day he was born and was assumed to be dead. He was replaced by a mysterious baby girl found in the snow named Jenna.
My favorite part of the book was the battle on Dom Daniels ship. Its filled with action and risks.
I give this book 5 stars and would definitely recommend it to readers who like to love to get lost in there imaginations.

I'm very interested in the baby girl, the one with the violet eyes. Where does she fit into the plot by the end? The battle aboard the Daniels ship certainly must have been a good one. Hey, action and risks are always entertaining. :-)
